Little Enthusiasm in Germany for Hitler’s Speech
ADULT POPULATION NERVOUS OF WAR. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, February 3. The Guardian points out that there is little enthusiasm in Germany over Hitler’s speech. The adult population is becoming nervous lest Germany drift into war. In Berlin another evidence of dis content is the resignation of the Minister of Posts and Transport, Baron von Eltz-llubenach, who has declined Hitler’s invitation to join the Nazi Party. The Daily Mail’s diplomatic correspondent says Sir Neville Meyrick Henderson, British Ambassador to the Argentine, is to succeed Sir Eric Phipps us British. Ambassador in Berlin.
