HALF-HOLIDAY QUESTION MOBRINSVTLLE, Feb. 3. The question of what constituted a farm hand’s half-day off was discussed at a meeting of tho Southern Thames sub-provincial executive of the Farmers* Union recently and the following resolution was carried: —"That legislation be pressed for so that time off be-
tween 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m., or six hours, one day a week be counted as a half-day.**
