Soldiers’ Sons for Flock House
DANNEVIRKE DISTRICT FINDS ITS QUOTA. “What is the result of tho commit toe’s investigations in regard to FU>:k House?" asked a member ut tho quar lerly meeting of the Dannevirke Re turned Soldiers’ Association at Or mondvillo on Wednesday night. “Eight lads are going forward this month," replied tho secretary (Mr. W. A. Breach). “Wo have doubled, our quota to Flock House." (Applause.; The President (Mr. J. Bradley) suiu he understood tha,t tho training period had been extended from eight month.to 12 months. Ho had recently boon speaking to a couple of tads who had been to Flock House and they spokt culogisticolly of the institution. Replying to a question, the president said the association would see that any sou of a returned soldier entering Flodk House would havo everything found for him, without cost to tho parents. A member informed tho meeting that he knew that tho wife of a returned soldier, whose son had entered Flock House, had been put to some expense. The president said if the member would givo him the name of the person ho would look into the matter. (Applause.)
