Considerable inconvenience to cyclists and motorists was caused by a swarm of bees which proceeded along Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, on Monday morning. Riding into the swarm, many cyclists were attacked, and people in cars parked along the street also experienced troublesome moments. The swarm finally reached the Regent Theatre, where it dwelt for some time on the roof, and later disappeared.
