Meat Board’s Shield Won by Manawatu
FAT LAMB EXHIBITS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, February 2. Mr. W. J. Jordan and Mr. R. S. Forsyth visited Smithficld and examined the fat lamb exhibits at the annual competition for the New Zealand Meat Board’s shield. The results are:—Manawatu, first; Wairarapa, second; Wangnanui, third; Wairoa, fourth. Two of the three prizes for the best pens were awarded to Manawatu, the other to Taranaki.
