Fair and Moderate Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anticyclone still lies across the northern portion of the North Island. A depression of very slight intensity is passing over the South. A fresh anticyclone is advancing across the Tas Winds: Light to fresh nortlf-wester-lics at first over the North Island, but southerlies over the South; southerlies becoming general within 24 hours and freshening on parts of the Last Coast. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough about Cook and Foveaux Straits, elsewhere slight to moderate but increasing on parts of the Last Coast. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds: slight to moderate seas. Weather: Isolated showers probable in the South Island and the western districts of the North, but weather for the most part fair to fine with moderate temperatures.
