War Relief
HAWKE’S BAY EXECUTIVE MEETS Grants and loans to soldiers afiiount-i-ng to £3BB 14s 5d have been made by the Hawke’s Bay War Relief Association during December 1936, and January 1937, according to a statement placed before a meeting of the Napier branch committee of the association on Tuesday night. Loans refunded amounted to £297 2s 2d. Present at the meeting were the , chairman, Mr G. b. V. Wenley, Mr H. Steele and Dr. H. F. Bernau. The sec/o----i tary, Mr H. J.
