From Our Own Correspondent A pleasant afternoon was given by the Presbyterian Ladies' Guild at Mrs Craighead’s home to farewell Rev. A. Y. and Mrs Stewart, who are shortly leaving the district. Little Gretta Banks presented Mrs Stewart with a pretty posy, made by Mrs W-. Scott. Several interesting compe- ! titions added to the enjoyment, of the afternoon, and afternoon tea was served. Mrs Banks snr., thanked Mrs Craighead’ for the use of her home. Those present were Rev. A. Y. and Mrs Stewart, Mesdames Calder, Craighead, Banks snr., G. Beard, Jones, Thompson, W. Scott, I. Jensen, Banks jnr, Parks, J. Watt and Miss Bailey (Mangaweka).
