Lindberghs Missing

LATE EDITION

HAVE THEY CRASHED? United Press Association—By Electric Teleeraoli.—Copy right. Received Wednesday, 2 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 2. The absence of news of Charles and Mrs. Lindbergh who were flying to Egypt, is causing anxiety. Reports from Budapest that they crashed on the Jugoslav-Hungar-ian frontier are unconfirmed. The difficulty of establishing their whereabouts is increased owing to the secrecy of their plans. Lindbergh set off merely remarking: “We are just going on a little jaunt.”
