PRICES FOR MEDIUM LAMBS EASIER The New Zealand Farmers* Co-op. Distributing Company, Ltd., report as follows: We offered approximately 600 sheep, the bulk of tJhe entry being lambs which were of medium quality, and the whole of tho purchasing was done by local clients. Our top price for shorn white faced lambs was 19s Id and was received for a choice lino which was sold on account of Mr. Robert Yoeman, Makuri, and for a line of black faced rape lambs offered on account of James Judd, Tane, we received the satisfactory price of 21s 7d. We quote: — Sheep: W.f.w. lambs (shorn) 19s Id, 18s 9d, 18s 4d, 17s 9d, 17s sd, 16s lOd; w.f.w lambs (woolly) medium sorts 16* 2d, 15s Bd, 14s; ewe lambs (small) 20s, 18s Bd, 17s 0d; b.f. rape lambs 21s 7d, 21s, 19s lOd; medium b.f. lambs 18s, 17s 4d, 16s 7d; small b.f. lambs 15s, 14s 9d, 12s 6d; small medium lambs 12s lls 9d, 10s 7d; 2-th. wethers 245; fat ewes 22s down to 18s 6d. Cattle: Fat dairy cows £5 15s down to £4 10s; store dairy cows £2 lls. Pigs: Weaners 15s to 17s; stores 18s 6d to 21s.
