■c— ■ * SCRATCHINGS POSTED FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. DUNGARVAN AND HAUT MONDE. The following horses were scratched on Monday for their engagements at New Plymouth on Thursday: Dungarvan, Symcony and Cloudy Bay at 11.30 a.m. and Hauc Monde at 1.30 p.m. NEW PLYMOUTH TRACK WORK. LITTLE FAST WORK DONE. RIDING ENGAGEMENTS. Though there -were plenty of horses on the New Plymouth track on Monday morning there was practically no galloping. Practically all Monday’s w'ork took place on the plough. Bazaine (H. Dulieu) jumped three hurdles. The fences were low but Bazaino jumped with plenty of confidence. Convivial, who arrived during the week-end, did two rounds at half pace on the plough. The Cup candidate Ilazoor was sent once round at half pace. He looks bright and muscular. The other members of M. Williams’ team, Lone Raider, Earl Colossus, Export and Ruling Spi were given similar tasks. Glenthawn did a good working gallop over five furlongs, the last three in 39sec. Don Erma hit out freely over a mile at a good swinging three-quarter pace. He is in good order. Riding engagements are:— L. Clifford: Tahurangi, High Test. K. James: Choval de Volee. L. Dulieu: Court Anna. C. Thomson: Bazaine. A. Gilmer; Don Erma. W. J. Broughton: Cardsharper, Eagle’s Eye, Bantry.
