Prime Minister to Tour South Island

BEFORE HIS VISIT TO ENGLAND Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, will pay his first visit to the South Island during tho next week or two on a tour of the island before he leaves for England. This information was given by Mr. Savage in a telephone interview tonight. Mr. Savage said although he had been anxious to visit the South Island his duties had prevented his doing so previously. No itinerary has yet been planned but it is certain the tour will include all the main centres.
