Empire at Stake GREAT CORONATION YEAR SCHEME United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Jan. 31. Whitehall is considering .a gigantic Coronation year scheme for the Empire, including a loan of £100,000,000, embracing migration. Diplomatic circles believe that th future of the Etrpbe will depend on th next Imperial Conference, at which scheme will be enunciated. An expert on Imperial affairs says “Britain must pave the way with gold then the Empire can be opened up a it should." Mr Ramsay MacDonald is said t« have declared that unless we develoj tho Empire someone else will.
