The British Government has opened a special factory at Blackburn, Lancashire, for the manufacture of gas masks. When in full operation the factory will produce half a million complete gas masks each week, which are to be issued to the civilian population of Great Britain. The photograph shows girls at work in the factory making canister gas masks.
