Feilding Borough Rate Payments
UNDER £llOO OUTSTANDING Yesterday was tho last day for the payment of rates in the Ferlding borough before the operation of the 10 per cent penalty and the amount Outstanding when the books were closed at 4 o’clock was £1382. This is considered quite satisfactory and compares favour ably with the position when the ponalty operated last year. The total receipts up till yesterday afternoon on account of rates was £14,813. Th: amount levied was £16,205. The 10 pt. cent penalty operates from to-day.
