Feilding Chamber of Commerce

MEETING OP THE COMMITTEE. • The Feilding Chamber of Commerce committee met last evening, Mr. A. J. I Humphreys (president) presiding. | There were also present the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, M.P., E. Goodbehero, J. S. Tingey, D. Finlay, V. E. Smith, C. Hausmann, W. Hooper, E. Cook, A. C. Buist, G. J. Fitzpatrick (secretary), A. C. McCorkindale, F. Taylor and F. Kendall.

The resignation of Mr. O. Scotney was received with regret and his vacancy on the committee was filled by the election of Mr. Hooper. The question of the revision of laud and income tax was referred to the committee of the chamber for consideration at the March meeting. A further subject referred to the committee was the Local Bodies Amalgamation Bill.
