Tlio fall of the leaves is tho subject of a pleasing superstition. Country folk tell you that it is lucky to catch leaves as they fall from the trees —not always an easy feat; that the catcher has a happy day in store for every leaf so caught. If a leaf blows through the window or tho door many folk will let it remain for a while, believing that it bodes good luck, and, therefore, should not lightly bo swept away.
