Scattered Rains on East Coast FINE ELSEWHERE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone is still located over the Tasman but is now moving on to the Dominion. The pressure is falling over south-eastern Australia. Winds: Southerly to south-easterly light to moderate mainly but strong at times in exposed positions about and north of Cook Strait; change to northerlies advancing from the south tomorrow. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough to rough at times m places north of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura; otherwise slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate south-easterly winds veering gradually tq northerlies in the central and southern portions; seas slight to moderate. Weather: Cloudy on the East Coast with scattered rain north of Kaikoura; elsewhere fair to fine. Temperatures cool.
