LITTLE BROWNIE CAKES. Mix 1/3-cup butter and 1/3-cup sugar, add 1/3-cup golden syrup and wellbeaten egg. Sift and add 11-cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, J teaspoon carbonate of soda and 1-cup chopped nuts. Flavour delicately and appctisir.gly with Stevens’ ‘Cathedral Brand’ Essonce of Vanilla, Lemon or Cocoanut. Bake 20 minutes in patty pans.
