Gales to Pasj Par Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti cyclone still covers the Tas nan. Pressure has risen considerably over the Dominion but is still rather low to the south-east. Winds: South-west to southerly prevailing still strong in some exposed positions but decreasing and elsewhere light to moderate. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough to rough about Cook and Foveaux Straits but gradually decreasing and elsewhere slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light tp moderate southerly winds and slight to mod erate seas. Weather: For the most part fine with rising temperatures but a few passing showers at first on the western and southern coasts of the South Island and later becoming cloudy on the Hast Coast.
