ROSENBLOOM TO MEET JOE LOUIfe Maxie Rosenbloom, according to information from America, will meet Joe Louis at Los Angeles, on February 22. He stopped Jack Sharkey in the third round, Italian, A 1 Ettoro in the fifth, and Argentine, Jorge Brescia, in the third. In addition he has scored several k.o. vie tories in exhibition contests. Rosenbloom, who became the lightheavyweight champion of the world by defeating Jimmy Slattery in 15 rounds at Buffalo, N.Y., in June, 1930,, held the title until November 16, 1934, when at New York City in 10 rounds Bob Olin became the new champion..

Rosenbloom is now oao of tho cleverest of the big pugilists, and it is expected that Maxie will give Louis one of the best encounters of his career. The contest has far-reaeniug interest. Joe Louis, whose next fight is against Pastory, is reported to have been floored by a punch from one of his sparring partners.
