“Scram! ” Cries a King’s Son
INQUIRIES ABOUT LOVER Beautiful Marta Rocafort told New York newspaper men recently that soon she was to marry the Count of Covadonga, King Alfonso’s eldest son and ex-heir to Spain's throne. The Count was with her when she spoke. They were sitting together in a night club, to which the Count had nobbled. So weak is he from the effects of tho latest attack of haemophilia that he is forced to walk leaning on two sticks. As photographers and pressmen approached their table the Count asked: “Do you want to spoil everything for u~ in courts? " He was referring tu the still-pending action to annul his first marriage. But Marta interrupted him. “Oh, why not tell about it!’ 1 she asked. “They all know I’m going to marry you as soon as you are divorced." Then they were asked if they were in love. “Oh, yes!" they cried iu chorus. But when the crowd around the table started to increase the Count showed a mastery of Amencaneso—“Now picas* scram! *
