The Manawatu Co-operative Building Society
LOANS APPROVED IN VARIOUS GROUPS. A meeting of the board of directors of the Manawatu Co-op. Building Society was held on Thursday night, when the following were present: —Messrs G. B. Cope (chairman), J. J. O'Shea, G. G. Priest and W. Ward. An apology for absence was received from Mr G. D Pattle. Loans were finally approved as follow:—No. 1 group, £3OO, Marton; No. 2 group, £SOO Hukanui, £SOO Palmerston North; No. 3 group, £SOO, Palmerston North; No. 6 group, £7OO, Woodville; No. 7 group, Wanganui. The secretary stated that a further 20 shares had been applied for in the New No. 7 gr<?up.
