A League job worth £3500 a year i.going begging, namely, the High Com missionership of Danzig which Herr d Graff has declined on the advice, it u reported, of the Dutch Governmen owing to fears of becoming entangle’ in disputes with Germany. Other Gov ernments apparently have the same fear. A Norwegian lawyer name:. Reimers, it is understood, is willing to accept the post but ho is not favoured by the Polish Government which must be consulted. A Portuguese admiral is also mentioned.
