From Our Own Correspondent. General and Personal Misses Aisla and Lola Rowland are small Tiakltahuna visitors staying with Mr and Mrs W. McMurray. Congratulations to Miss Hazel Harrowfield on her book-keeping. Typewriting, and shorthand success in the Wellington Chamber of Commerce examinations. Mrs A. gfrawiord has several members of the Giassunbury family from the South Island holidaying at her home. The past lew days the weather has been typical of summer and many farmers are working overtime. Messrs. John and Ken Woodd have returned irom a cycle trip to the Rotorua district. Two tennis teams will be engaged in play on Saturday. The A team will journey to Manawatu courts, whilst the B team players will entertain a team from the Y.M.C.A. The following players win be required:—Misses M. Vautier, E. Woodd, J. Woodd, M. Sly, C. Vautier, M. Hodgson, E. Vautier, Mrs Oxenham, Messrs S. Oxenham, VV. Vautier, F. Eagle, F. Greene, H. Gore, W. Bainbridge, E. Morris, P. Koehler; emergency, M. Johansen. Mrs Rider and her two children have returned to Wanganui, after enjoying a holiday with the H. Wood family.
