Fire Alarm Interfered With
(Special to 4 ‘ Times”). HASTINGS, Last Night. Charged with interfering with the alarm at the Waipawa Fire Station, G. S. Williams, Gisborne, was convicted and fined £5 with costs 10s by Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Waipawa Magistrate's Court yesterday. J. A. Dewhirst, Tikokino, for failing to pay instalments of unemployment levy, was convicted and fined 15s with costs 12s. The charge was brought on behalf of the department by Mp. T. G. Feilder.
