Of course, some of it was no longer saleable; but there were many items that still have their uses certainly not for ‘best’ but at least for ‘every-day’ utility. So we’ve decided, rather than ‘write them off’ to give you the opportunity of picking up for a mere fraction of their ordinary price, any of them that may prove useful, perhaps as a replacement, perhaps as a mere ‘stop-gap’.
