Strong Demand for Wool at Sydney Sales
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 11.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 27. At the wool sales 12,918 bales were offered and 10,930 sold, also 1708 privately. The recent good prices were well maintained. All better grown fleece and skirtings met a particularly strong demand. Greasy Merino sold to 34i pence.
