Parade of massed bands which, took part in the pipe band contest at Palm erston North on Saturday. The Ruahino Pipe Band (Dannevirke) won the quickstep event. At this contest the Scots College Pipe Band performed the feat of marching over the measured course of 100 yards in the correct time of 60 seconds.
