PRISONERS SENTENCED. Fer Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. Prisoners sentenced to-day by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) wer3 as follows: William Herbert Chapman, aged 50, engine driver, escaping from custody, to come up for sentence in six months if called on. Arthur Alton Burd, aged 40, clerk, theft as a servant of the Public Trust, tv o year's reformative treatment. Eruini Ti Wiki, aged 21, motor mechanic, breaking, entering and theft, four months' hard labour. Ronald Leslie Brown, aged 26, labourer, indecent assault ou a female, eighteen months’ reformative treatment. Alfred Sidney Goodman, aged 30, waiter, breaking, entering and theft, four charges, attempted breaking and entering with intent, two charges and theft, one charge, three years’ hard lab ■'Ur on each charge, sentences to be concurrent. Thomas Osier, aged 48, labourer, breaking, entering and theft, two years’ probation. George Paterson, aged 53, clerk, theft, fifteen months’ reformative treatment.
