Fine Generally at First Par Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone ot considerable in:eusity now covers New Zealand. The tropical cyclone in the Pacific Islands area is apparently moving southwards and is likely to affect northern New Zeuland to morrow. A depression over Eastern Australia is filling up. Winds; Light to moderate and variable south-east to north-east predominating, soon becoming strong in the far uortu and north-east, Seas (New Zealand waters): Slight to moderate, rising later on the East Coast north of Hawke's Bay. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to model ate east to north-east winds freshening in the northern portion. Seas slight to moderate. Weather: Pine generally at first, with rising temperatures but clouding over shortly in the far north and north-east •with rain developing there.
