Feilding Show
Entries for this popular event have now closed and from information to hand it is estimated that the i’orthcom ing show will bo a record for tho association. Sheep will be a very strong section, particularly the liomncys and natural condition Southdown classes. Fat sheep and lamb classes are well filled and will present a grand display. Pig entries are Ytfell represented in all breeds. In the cattle sections the Jersey classes will provide a grand exhibition of the pick of the Dominion’s herds, as there are entries from all parts of tho North island competng for the £SOO Jersey Oaks. Red Poll, Friesians dairy stock are not so numerous, but the quality will make up for the slight deficiency in numbers. Lovers of horses will be glad to know that the competitions and hack classes, including draughts, are well filled, and the jumping events will bo held on Wednesday (People’s Day), including wood-chop-ping. dispatch race, etc., etc. {Show timetable and summary of events will bo advertised later.
