Cloud and Rain Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Pressure is still low to the east of the South Island, but an anti-cyclone which covers the Eastern Tasman, is moving slowly on to the Dominion. A depression covers Eastern Australia and a tropical cyclone is located in the New Hebrides area. Winds: Light to fresh southerlies, later becoming variable and tending northerly in most places to-morrow. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rougn south of Castlepoint; elsewhere sligut to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate southerly winds with a change to northerlies approaching from the west; seas slight to moderate but latoi increasing. Weather: Cloudy to overcast in eastern districts from Hawke’s Hay southwards with some rain but improving to-morrow; elsewhere mainly fair to line with some isolated showers. T hunder is probable.
