Fatal Motor-cycle Accident

SKID ON WET BITUMEN. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Fatal injuries were received by YViJliam Charles Avenall, tailor, aged about 23 years, of Aliramar, when the motor cycle he was driving collided with a tram in Aloxham Avenue, Kilbirnie, shortly before 1 p.m. to-day. It is believed his neck was fractured and in addition he received a fractured left thigh and fractured right wrist. His brother, H. N. Avenall, also a tailor, was a pillion rider on the motor-cycle. He was removed to hospital suffering injuries to his back and shoulder but later was able to return home. The accident is believed to have been caused through the motor-cycle skidding on wet bitumen^
