The Morning Post’s Rome correspondent says: "A significant move towards the exploitation of Abyssinia has been taken with the creation of an Italo-German East African Mineral Company with a capital of £500,000. German financiers contribute 49 per cent of the capital and supply most of the technicians and specialised machinery. The Germans have undertaken to restore their share of the capital to Italy at the end of five years, reserving 25 per cent of the production for German industry. "Italian circles declare similar international co-operation is open to all who recognise Italy’s sovereignty in Abyssinia. ’ ’
