The second day of the Wellington Racing Club’s Summer Meeting attracted a very large crowd to Trentham on Friday, the principal race being the Wellington Racing Club Handicap, the finish of which is seen above. Sunee, an outside chance, is, seen winning the race from Argentic (2) and Scotland (7). Centre right, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, and Mr. J. Thorn, M.P., on the lawn between events. Bottom right, finish of the two-year-old race, the Nursery Handicap, in which Brunhilde is seen defeating Relative in a close finish.
