The summer meeting of the Wellington Racing Cluh was concluded at Trentham on Saturday in fine and sunny weather with a fresh westerly breeze. There was a large attendance. The track was in good order and the going was fast. The totalisator handled £69,223, as compared with £48,821 on the third day last year. The total for the meeting was £188,825 10s, as against £117,766, the increase being £71,059.

Laughing Lass was also prominent and she drew out in the final furlong for a decisive win. Helen Ford and Stratosphere were always prominent and Helen Ford drew out in the straight from tho leaders, when High Glee, coming strongly on the rails* just- failed to get up.
