Permission for Another Attempt on Everest
United Press Association—liy Electric Telegraph.—CopyrigU t. Received Friday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 22. The Alount Everest Committee have received the Tibetan Government’s consent for a British expedition in 3938. It is understood despite Tibetan religious sentiment regarding Everest that permission hUs been given in view of Indo-Tibetan good relations and as a New Year token of goodwill.
