BUTTER STEADIER; CHEESE FIRM. LONDON, Jan. 21. During the past week the butter market iu London has displayed a tendency to steadiness and on the cheese market there has been a firm tone. Current quotations are as follow, those previously cabled being included in parentheses:— Butter. —Danish, Ills to 112 s (108 s to 110 s). Choicest salted: New Zealand, 93s (93s to 945); Australian, 93s (93s to 945). Unsalted: New Zealand, 9 to 98s (975); Australian, 96s (955). Cheese.—New Zealand: White, 53s 6d (56s 6d); coloured, 52s 6d to 53s (56s Gd). Australian: White, 52s (55s to 565); coloured, 51s Gd (55s to 565).
