Unsettled and Wanner ( Per Presa Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone of very slight inten lity is crossing the northern extremity of the Dominion, while a deep depression is located over the western and southern portions of the Tasman Sea. Winds: North-west to northerly, , moderate to strong generally and rising at times to gale force in places about and south of Cook Strait; change to south-west probable by the morning iu the southern portion of the South Island. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough about Cook and Foveaux Straits; elsewhere slight to moderate but rising somewhat on the West Coast of the South Island. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong north-westerly winds but change to west or south-west advancing from the west; seas rough in the southern portion; elsewhere moderate to rather rough. Weather: Fair to fine generally at first but becoming unsettled shortly in .the western districts from Taranaki southwards with rain developing and later extending to scattered places else- ■ where. Temperatures warm.
