Five-day Tests Favoured By “Plum” Warner
LONDON, Jan. 20. Mr “Plum” Warner, speaking at the annual meeting of the Middlesex Cricket Club, at which he was elected president, advocated the five-day Test.* Ho said the prospects of a fight to a finish would be greatly enhanced. There would be no additional interference with the county programme if Tests started on a Thursday instead of Friday.
