Italy’s Birthrate Drops
FAILURE OF MORE POPULATION - CAMPAIGN. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. ROME, Jan. 20. The population of Italy on December 31 was 43,286,000. The birth-rate, despite last year’s country-wide demographic campaign, fell from 23.1 to 22.2 per thousand.
