BUICK PLANT CLOSES DOWN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrigh t. Received Thursday, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 21. In connection with the automobile striko the Buick division of General Motors Corporation has been closed at Flint due to lack of materials, rendering idle 10,000 additional workers and raising the total unemployed in the city with a population of 105,000 to 38,000. Only one General Alotors Corporation plant in Flint, the Spark Plug Company, is still operating.
