Girl Guides’ Wedding Gift to Princess Juliana

Besides sharing in a present to their patroness, Princess Juliana, to be giveu by the whole country, Dutch Girl Guides made a fine linen tablecloth and d’oylics. In the centre of the cloth the World Flag was enjforoidered, the rest of the cloth being divided into 70 squares embroidered in the 70 localities where there are Guide centres. On each square appeared the Dutch trefoil with the name of the centre underneath. When completed, the squares were joined together by Guide crochet workers at The Hague.
