Prom Our Own Correspondent A. tennis match was held on the Kairangta courts between Carnarvon and Kairanga teams. The weather held line until the last game, when it started to rain and the play ceased. Owing to the grass courts being unplayable, Messrs D. Collis and I-I. Turner kindly lent their courts, which was much appreciated by the club. After the match, afternoon tea was served in the hall by the ladies. Small has gone to Wellington to spend his annual holidays with his grandmother, Mrs H. J. Donovan. Mrs and Miss Loveday, of Christchurch, have returned* to their home after holidaying with Mr and Mrs G. Davey. Miss Monica Edmunds of Palmerston North, is staying with Miss Alma Cooper. Mrs N. Cooper, accompanied by Mrs W. R. E Woodroofe and family, is spending a holiday at the Tangimoana beach. Master A. Cooper is st present spending a few days at Masterton. Miss R. Hall, of Bulls, is staying with Miss Joyce Newman. Mrs C. Newman has returned home after spending a holiday at the Foxton beach. Miss Rita Hyde has been staying with her sister, Mrs E. Hunt, of Knowles street, Palmerston North. Air and Mrs G. Davey and family are holidaying at the Foxton beach. Mrs E. Capp and Miss N. Jackson are spending a few days at the Tangimoana beach.
