Ossietsky’s Nobel Prize
TRANSFER OF MONEY TO GERMANY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Co pyrigh t. OSLO, Jan. 19. It has been discovered that the woman who presented the order for Herr Ossie tszky’s Nobel Peace Prize is the secretary of a Berlin solicitor, who is acting as proxy for Ossietszky. The bank is satisfied of her bona fides and will transfer the prize to a German bank, except £SO which will be paid to the woman. Police seized the passport of an at tractive brunette, Mrs. Kreutzberger, who presented an order for payment of Ossietszky’s Nobel Peace Prize. The woman recently arranged for the prize to be transferred to the German Kommerzbauk at Berlin. The bank declined to pay over the money. Mrs. Kreutzberger said she was acting on behalf of a Berlin doctor, Herr Wannow. The newspaper Arbeiderbladet alleged that Mrs. Kruetzberger was an agent for the German secret police.
