The title-holder Benny Lynch defeat ed Filipino Smai, of Montana, in the world flyweight championship at Wembley ou points iu a 15-rouud bout. It was a fast fight in which Lynch was more aggressive and punched harder. The attendance was 13,500 and the receipts £14,700, both Wembley records.
