' The Chief Justice,- .Lord Howart, Mr Justice Avory,. and Mr. Justice Branson, unanimously decided in fav-“ our of the Daily Mail when .Jacob Factor, charged the paper with contempt of Court in publishing an article declaring that the Mail would not be muzzled by Factor's writ for libel. Last year the Mail revealed an amazing series of alleged swindles by Factor, who was formerly a New York barber, and the leader of the “collar” bandits, who, it is said, made big hauls by selling bogus oil shares. Lord Hewart said that if half of what the Mail said about Factor was true, it was for the public's benefit that his unmasking should .ttdt bo delayed.
