WADING FERGUSON-LANCASTEE. , A pretty wedding of much interest was solemnized 'at All Saints’ Church yesterday, when). Miriam Annie, third daughter of tho late Mr S, R. Lancaster,! of Whakarongo, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Alex. Herbert, only son of Mr and Mrs W. Ferguson, of Wellington. Tho ceremony was performed by Canon Fancourt, vicar of All Saints,. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr Hugh Lancaster, looked charming in a dainty dress of white brocaded ctepe-de-chine,- the skirt being finished with frills of georgette, with a trail of silver tissue roses falling from tho waist line. A semi-train of silver tissue, embroidered with a true lover’s knot in pearls) hung from-one shoulder, while a beautifully embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white. and pink flowers. The bride was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Meg. Hastings, who wore a pretty frock of pale blue crepe-dc-chine, with a yoke of silver lacc, carrying a bouquet of blue flowers with tullo streamers, and Miss Molly Lancaster, whose frock was of-pale pink erepe-dc-ehiho, with yoke and inlets of ecru lace. Sho carried a bouquet of pale pink flowers. Each wore a headdress of swathed tullo. The little flower . girl, Miss Bonnie Oliver, was daintily dressed in maize crepe-de-chino. She carried a basket of pink and blue flowers. AH the bouquets were the artistic work of Mrs T. Attwood. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Arthur Lancaster, while Mr Lawrence Clark acted as groomsman. After the i ceremony, a reception was held at the Balmoral tea rooms, where the guests were received by Mrs 8, E. Lancaster who wore a frock of black crepe-de-chine, with an inlet panel of beige. She carried a bouquet of yellow and bronze flowers. The numerous and costly presents —which included several cheques —testified to the popularity of the young couple. After-the customary toasts were honored, the happy couple left by car for the north, the bride travelling in a dress of cyclamen jersey silk, with hat to tone. ;.
