LAST NIGHT’S CAENIVAL. ■ At the Municipal Baths last evening the Fcilding Amateur Swimming Club held its final carnival /of the season. There was a splendid attendance of the general public and all events attracted keen competition. As usual the management left nothing to bo desired and the club officials are to bo congratulated upon the success which has attended the several carnivals provided throughout the season. The Mayor, Mr. E. Pair, formally declared the carnival open. The following are the results: — 50 yards handicap—First Heat: E. Milverton (P. 6 secs) 1, L. Pike.(F----7) 2.
